Tabulyn processes documents people would rather not hand over casually — invoices, bank statements, internal reports. This page explains exactly what happens to them.
What we do with your file
When you upload a PDF, it is stored temporarily and passed to a processing worker that detects tables and converts them into spreadsheet rows. That is the only thing your document is used for.
We do not read, analyse, mine, or train anything on your documents, and we do not share them with third parties.
How long files are kept
Your uploaded PDF and any Excel or CSV file generated from it are deleted automatically about one hour after upload. Download links are short-lived and stop working once the file expires.
Deletion is automatic — you do not need to request it.
What we store about the conversion
We keep operational records for each job: file size, page count, how many tables were found, how long processing took, and whether it succeeded. This is what tells us the service is working.
We do not store the text of your document, the contents of extracted cells, or the generated spreadsheet beyond the retention window described above.
Analytics
We measure product behaviour — conversions started and completed, error rates, processing times — never document contents. Extracted cell values, PDF text, and file contents are never sent to any analytics service.
Accounts
The free converter does not require an account, so we do not collect your name or email to use it. If you contact us, we only hold what you send us in that message.
Abuse prevention
To enforce free usage limits and block abuse, we count recent conversions against a derived identifier based on your network address rather than storing raw addresses alongside your files.
